Work First Family Cash Assistance (WFFA)-

• Includes Medicaid and a monthly check
• Households must have children under 18 in the home
• Recipients must meet income limits
• Must seek employment
• Recipients subject to a 2 year state time limit and a 5 year lifetime limit 
• Recipients must be US Citizens or legal residents

EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Employment Services assists welfare
recipients to become employed and self-sufficient.

Parents who are WFFA recipients are required to be involved in work-related activities for 35 hours per week. The 35 hours can be made up of one or more activities. Program activities include work, vocational training, job search, job readiness, and work experience.
